DISC JOCKEYS / MASTER OF CEREMONIES

We are Don and Moon, the DJ Duo. We are a professional DJ/MC duo central to the Finger Lakes of New York State. More than a DJ/MC team, we are artists. We are musicians, entertainment connoisseurs, and wedding enthusiasts.

 

We’ve worked together as a duo in the entertainment industry since 2012. Providing wedding entertainment services for premier venues throughout New York since 2016, we’ve worked with and beside the top wedding vendors in the region.

DON LLOYD

DJ Don Lloyd, the Master of Ceremonies, has loved playing and performing live music since his childhood. Originally a drummer, Don has enjoyed picking up various instruments over the years including guitar, bass, and piano. He loves classic rock and the blues. Inspired by bands such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and the Beatles, Don has written and recorded much of his own music throughout his life. He attended Villa Maria College in Buffalo, NY, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Music Industry, with a focus on Audio Engineering and Music Performance.

DJ Moon Swenson has always had a passion for arts and entertainment. She grew up taking ballet, dance classes, and piano lessons and always appreciated seeing live performances and theater.  She graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY, with a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies. After college, Moon began focusing on music and entertainment while performing as a duo with Don. She is the drummer in their two-piece band, known as Thoroughbred.
